We are a state chapter of the National Group, Red Wine & Blue. We connect women locally to organize and promote action to keep or flip states blue.
This group is the state level offshoot of SWEEP by Red Wine and Blue. We are a group of women fighting to “clean house” in Virginia. We care about quality public education, women's rights, LGBTQ rights, common sense gun reform, affordable healthcare, the environment, and true equality for all.
We strive to be a place to connect with like-minded people because we know it can feel like you're a tiny blue dot in a sea of red or you're in a blue area but are struggling to get connected.
Issues: Electoral politics, Racial Justice, Gun Violence, Environment, Womens Rights, LGBTQ, Immigration, Healthcare, Voting Rights,
Activities: Organizing actions, Canvassing, Phone banking, Postcards, Voter Registration, focus on relational organization within the state of Virginia
