Alex Askew

Alex Askew was elected to the House of Delegates in 2019, receiving 51.6% of the vote.

Alex was born and raised in Virginia Beach. He attended Hampton University and then worked on local, state-wide, and national campaigns and managed diverse teams that empowered voters.

Before being elected to the House of Delegate, he served as a Chief of Staff for the Virginia House of Delegates, guiding elected officials towards tangible solutions.

Alex is also a proponent of establishing a process for the restoration of voting rights for those have served their time and repaid their debt to society."
