Mavis is running in HD-33, where Tia Walbridge ran in 2017.

"Mavis is running for Delegate to be a voice for healthcare for all, fair wages for teachers, and infrastructural improvements that will bring Virginia's 33rd District the same prosperity enjoyed by the rest of a very wealthy state. Throughout her career, Mavis has fought for ALL Americans, whether as a Head Start teacher, as a breaker of glass ceilings in the male-dominated world of business in the 1960s and 70s, or as an activist. She will be a fighter for progressive values and policies that Virginians can count on."
