Nadarius Clark won the HD-79 seat in 2021. That year, he defeated incumbent Heretick in the Democratic primary.

Nadarius Clark was born in Norfolk, Virginia and was raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Union University.

Nadarius was a co-founder of Generation Now Network at VUU and was selected as Student Leader Ambassador. He has a history of working and volunteering for democrats and progressive non-profits.
