NOVA Grassroots

We work with and provide support to progressive organizations in the state of Virginia. Connected names are Fairfax Grassroots and Virginia Grassroots.

NovaGrassroots.org website provides information on events and issues of interest to progressives in Northern Virginia. VirginiaGrassroots.org post information on elections and events around the state.

2016: After 2016 election, started our group with the name Fairfax Grassroots. Set up a Facebook discussion group, a website, fairfaxgrassroots.org with lists of progressive organizations, calendars of events, and info on issues. (Later changed name of the website to NOVAgrassroots.org, but too late to change Facebook group name.) Sponsored a phone bank for candidates all over Virginia at FCDC "after hours", working with Coordinated Campaign.
