The Women’s Summit is turning 10

We’re celebrating a decade of grassroots activism, leadership, community, and victories that helped shape Virginia's political landscape.

Today, the Women’s Summit is more than a conference. It is a grassroots activism festival, leadership summit, movement gathering, training hub, and community-powered experience designed to help people build power together. At a time when democracy, voting rights, and fundamental freedoms face unprecedented challenges, the Women’s Summit remains a place where people come to learn, organize, recharge, connect, celebrate, and prepare for the work ahead. It’s a place where you find your people. And leave with new ideas, new skills, new friendships, renewed purpose, and the energy to keep going.

Because hope isn't something we wait for. Hope is something we build together. When we work together, we win. And winning means building a more just, inclusive, and democratic future for everyone.

SHOW UP • POWER UP • FIGHT BACK

Join us August 21-23, 2026, as we celebrate ten years of activism and prepare for the next chapter of grassroots power.

Because democracy needs all of us.
And together, we’re going ALL IN to WIN.

PROGRAM

FRIDAY, AUGUST 21 Show UP

Friday is about community, candidates, coalition-building, and collaboration. We start in the afternoon with workshops and networking opportunities and then move into our evening program. This is where activists, elected officials, advocacy organizations, campaigns, and community leaders come together to build relationships and discover new opportunities for collaboration.

When we show up for each other, we win.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 Power UP

Saturday is dedicated to inspiration, leadership development, learning, and movement-building.

The day begins with our Main Stage Kickoff featuring powerful speakers, organizers, storytellers, and the Friday Power Lunch LIVE.

Saturday afternoon, we're doing something bold. We're launching our MasterClass series — and this is not your typical sit-and-listen situation. Grassroots organizers already know the old playbook isn't working. So each session takes a big idea and gets real about how we actually put it into practice — our way, on our terms.

Then the evening is full of networking, music, and community connection.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 Fight Back

Sunday turns inspiration into action.

The morning features organizing conversations, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and our Candidate & Campaign Training Hub designed to support current and future candidates, campaign teams, organizers, and movement leaders.

The weekend concludes with our signature BADASS BRUNCH.

We’ll celebrate ten years of grassroots activism, honor the people who helped build this movement, and look ahead to the opportunities and challenges before us.

SHOP LIVE VOTE
Your Values Expo

Friday & Saturday

What if your shopping, your community, and your activism all pointed in the same direction?

That's the idea behind this year’s SHOP LIVE VOTE Your Values Expo. We’re weaving a curated marketplace and advocacy space into the heart of the Women's Summit, where values-aligned businesses, grassroots organizations, makers, authors, and advocates connect with the people who need them most.

Democracy isn't only shaped at the ballot box — it's shaped by how we live, where we gather, and who we choose to support.

Craftivism & Gratitude Garden

SATURDAY ONLY

Step Outside. Make Something. The Garden is waiting for you.

On Saturday, enjoy a garden full of craft making just waiting to happen. This is your creative escape: a living, breathing space where your activist energy gets to take shape in the most beautiful way. Fold it, stitch it, paint it, bloom it. Paper crafts, needle crafts, watercolors, paper flowers.
Pull up a chair. Feel the breeze. Let your hands do the talking of messages of action, hope, and resilience.

No agenda. No pressure. Just you, some supplies, and a little patch of green.
