Please Vote YES on SB1192: Prohibit carry of Assault Firearms in public areas.

Access to assault weapons, which have rapid fire capacity and gun cartridges that hold lots of bullets, are directly related to mass shootings.

Prohibiting the carrying of assault firearms in public areas can prevent mass shooting injuries and death.

Prioritizing public safety is a necessary step in tackling this public health issue. When the Federal Assault Weapons Ban was in place between 1994-2004, it resulted in a significant decrease in public mass shootings.
