Charlottesville NOW, established in 1975, is the local chapter of the National Organization for Women, serving Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. We hold at least 8 chapter meetings per year, each with an educational program and actions during or after the meeting. In addition we organize action events, such as rallies, lobbying at the Capitol, postcard writing, etc.

Issues: Electoral politics, Racial Justice, Gun Violence, Womens Rights, LGBTQ, Immigration, Healthcare, Voting Rights, Reproductive rights, ending violence against women, constitutional equality, economic justice
