Non-Partisan RVA Indivisible
Richmond, VA
We will stand together and we'll fight back in defense of our rights, our communities, and our values.
RVA Indivisible launched in November 2024, filling a void of active Indivisible groups in Richmond, VA. In January 2025, our group received a $1,000 Grow Grant from Indivisible national, allowing us to screen the documentary "God & County" at Studio Two Three on 2/20/25. We work closely with other local political and civic organizations, including Richmond Peace Education Center (RPEC), 50501-VA, and Diversity Richmond.
Our group members maintain close and frequent contact with our Members of Congress, lobbying our MOCs on issues that are important to our community and meeting with our representatives' local office staffs. We employ the strategies and tactics of Indivisible to exert our constituent power and fight back against Project 2025, Trump, and Maga attacks on our democracy.
RVA Indivisible organizes four different meetings each month: an in-person meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, a Zoom meeting on the Sunday following the first monthly meeting, a second in-person meeting 11 days after the month's Zoom meeting, and individual Action Group meetings in the days following the Thursday meeting.
